Blizzcon 2008 Tickets: Online Store Error

Today is the first day that you are able to purchase your tickets for Blizzcon 2008; this is the World of Warcraft makers’ yearly celebration of everything that they do for the fans. However if the amount of errors that the online store is having has anything to go by, they are not doing much for the fans.
Many fans have been trying for hours to purchase a ticket; they get to various stages of the ticket buying process before that are met with a message saying that an error has occurred.
The error happens when you try to submit character info for the tickets. However some have managed to get as far as entering their credit card details. Seems that many Blizzcon fans will not be making it to the 2008 show.
For those of you who are eager to go to Blizzcon 2008, you should just keep trying. One guy from Kotaku has asked everyone to stop trying to purchase a ticket for at least 15 minutes, just so he can get hold of one himself.
Has everyone else had any problems with trying to purchase a ticket for Blizzcon 2008?
