How Does LG’s Dare Compare? Samsung Instinct and Apple iPhone

Earlier today Peter showed a full breakdown of the LG Dare that goes on sale today, he also wrote about the pricing details on Verizon Wireless. We now look at how the LG Dare compares in features to the Samsung Instinct and the upcoming Apple iPhone 3G.
Here is a quick summery of some main features of each phone, each phone has many other unique features that can be viewed on the brands website, links are provided where possible.
First up is the LG Dare, this phone has 3G, a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash, full HTML browser, 3-inch 262k-color touch-screen at 240-by-400, dimensions are 4.1 by 2.2 by 0.5 inches and it weighs 3.76 ounces. The main selling feature of this phone is the high-quality video recording; this records 640-by-480 video at up to 120 frames per second. This is a first in the cell phone world. Next up is the Samsung Instinct, this phone has 3G, a 2-megapixel camera, a full HTML browser, digital music player, integrated GPS with Sprint navigation, support for Sprint Radio and Sprint Live TV, Visual Voicemail with support for POP3 and IMAP email, 2GB Storage space via micro SD slot, Bluetooth, the phone can act as a modem and it measures 4.57×2.17×0.49 inches and weights 4.4 ounces. Last we have the iPhone 2.0, this phone features EDGE, 3G, or Wi-Fi, 8GB of storage for the $199 model, a full HTML safari browser, 2-megapixel camera, GPS that is active only when you need it. The real selling point for the iPhone is the third-party applications available through the upcoming App Store. This service will be much better than any other phone can offer. Your choice of phone will really depend on what your looking for, if we are talking phone features for money then the LG Dare would be the best choice thanks to the better 3.2-megapixel camera and amazing 120fps video recording, but for $130 you can still get video recording on the Samsung Instinct, although not as good.
Where the 3G iPhone lacks in video recording and camera pixels, it makes up in third party application support. With that kind of support these features and a lot more can be added.
