SURF INTERNET BEYOND LANGUAGE BORDERS

Located in a beautiful swiss mountain meadow, which in summer is used as pasture and in winter as a ski run, EM2N decided to stretch the house upwards in order to capture the spectacular view from all sides.

Apart from a gravel driveway, no fence, no embankment or ditch, nor any landscaping alter the area. In its external appearance, the building varies from its dark wood planking and small window openings to huge panorama windows.

Inside, instead of separating walls, there are vertical and horizontal zones, which serve several purposes. The 4 m high sleeping space resembling a hall is also a bathroom. Two round textile membranes separate the space and convert stairway and whirlpool into flowing
and zoned spatial bodies.
